EXHORTATION through the BOOK OF LIFE
Scripture to ponder on:
“And Jesus lifted up himself, and said unto her, Woman, where are they? did no man condemn thee? And she said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said, Neither do I condemn thee: go thy way; from henceforth sin no more.]”
John 8:10-11 ASV
*NO ONE CONDEMNS YOU**
The verse above tells us the story of the woman caught in adultery and her encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ. She certainly did not expect to be caught in the act of adultery, much less to be dragged and thrown at the feet of the Lord Jesus. When the scribes and Pharisees dragged her away with a certain barbarity, they expected Jesus to condemn her. None of them were ready to hear him say, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her!”
At that moment, you see, their consciences were pricked, their hardened hearts had to soften before the mirror Jesus held up to them. They left, one after another, beginning with the older women, leaving her alone to face the Lord Jesus. When he looked up, he said to her, “Where are your accusers? Has no one condemned you?”
Jesus knew how important it was for this woman to realize and to say to herself, “No one condemns me, Lord.” The only one who had the right to condemn her did not, because He knew that he would go to the cross to be punished and condemned in her place.
Something happens when you know that God doesn't condemn you today because of the cross. A weight is lifted from your shoulders. You receive both peace and freedom. The woman received the power to "sin no more (which was her problem)." Likewise, you too receive the power to overcome sin and even to rise from your current state and receive your deliverance.
Beloved, you are free. Jesus does not condemn you. On the contrary, He is waiting for you to stop disqualifying yourself because of your past and to grow in the identity that His death and resurrection have prepared for you. Take care to personalize the verses below and declare them as the first thing you do when you wake up and the last thing you do before you go to sleep. Declare them as many times as possible during the day so that the identity of your inner man (Ephe 3:16 )is manifested through you, and no storm can overwhelm you.
I receive Jesus and I believe in His Name (John 1:12).
Through my baptism, I died with Jesus and was raised with Christ by the glory of the Father (Romans 6:3-5).
I am a new creation (Romans 6:4; 2 Corinthians 5:17).
All my sins have been forgiven (Ephesians 1:7; 1 John 1:7).
I am complete in Him (Colossians 2:10).
I am righteous (2 Corinthians 5:21; Romans 5:19). (God sees me without sin because my sin is hidden in Jesus Christ, Colossians 3:3).
I am beloved (1 John 3:1).
I am accepted in the beloved (Ephesians 1:6).
I am healed (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24)
All my needs are met and I have more than enough to be a blessing to others (2 Corinthians 8:9; Philippians 4:19)
In practical terms, this is what it means to be a Christian!
Jesus’ beloved !
AMEN & AMEN 🙏🏾🙏🏾!!
