EXHORTATION through the BOOK OF LIFE
Scripture to ponder on:
“For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but so to think as to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to each man a measure of faith.”
Romans 12:3 ASV
FAITH IS INDIVIDUAL
When we speak of faith, we look to eternity, for it is written, “even as thou gavest him authority over all flesh, that to all whom thou hast given him, he should give eternal life. And this is life eternal, that they should know thee the only true God, and him whom thou didst send, even Jesus Christ.”John 17:2-3 ASV
Therefore, eternal life is a gift from Jesus, which gives you access to the Eternal God, who in turn gives you the Spirit of His Son as a guarantee of eternity. “Now he that establisheth us with you in Christ, and anointed us, is God; who also sealed us, and gave us the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.”(2 Corinthians 1:21-22)
“And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought the signs in his sight, wherewith he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast and them that worshipped his image: they two were cast alive into the lake of fire that burneth with brimstone:”Revelation 19:20 ASV
In the last book of the Bible which is the triumphant revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal destination of the beast, false prophets and those who accepted their doctrines is mentioned.
Today’s verse speaks of the measure of faith that God has allotted to each person in order to choose their eternal destination. And today, the world is filled with philosophical doctrines that dare not speak of eternity with the God who created heaven and earth, but rather of spiritual elevation that opens them to demonic influence…
You, Christian, your duty is to nurture the measure of faith that God has given you, with the Holy Spirit as your illuminator, so that you may experience the reality of the inheritance available to you because you have believed in Jesus Christ daily.
We submit this passage to you: “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 8:37-39 ASV
What are you suffering from today? The Apostle Paul teaches us to give thanks to God in Christ Jesus by asking Him to open our eyes so that we may see the provision He has already prepared for us. (Ephesians 1:3-8, 17-23; Philippians 4:19)
Jesus’ beloved !
AMEN & AMEN 🙏🏾🙏🏾!!
