EXHORTATION through the BOOK OF LIFE
Scripture to ponder on:
“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves;”
2 Corinthians 4:7 ASV
YOU ARE THE VESSEL CONTAINING GOD
David was declared a man after God's own heart, yet David could swing from praise to despair, as we read in the Psalms. However, we notice that in a psalm where he seems distraught, the more time he spends in God's presence, the more his way of living and acting fully expresses God. David understood that he was a vessel, and God was the one who would mold him.
You too are a vessel for God, designed by God for His glory. And He has prepared missions in advance for you (Ephesians 2:10). Don't reject this call; there are people around you who are waiting to see God's glory reflected in your actions. You don't need a pulpit; you simply need to let the One within you, who is greater and more powerful than the one in the world (1 John 4:4), be revealed.
You have been washed by the Blood of Jesus, and God has made Him your wisdom, your righteousness (God sees you in Jesus Christ), your sanctification, and your redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30). And you have the Holy Spirit who opens your eyes to understand the inheritance God has in you for your success in this world as His ambassador (Ephesians 1:18 / John 16:15).
Let us pray: Eternal Father, I thank You for the provision You have given for my mission in the world. Now open my eyes so that I may see this provision and give me the knowledge and wisdom to guide me in fulfilling my mission for Your glory, in the name of Jesus.
Jesus’ beloved !
AMEN & AMEN 🙏🏾🙏🏾!!
