✨ DAILY EXHORTATION ✨ According to the Book of Life
📖 Verse to meditate on:
“Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows... and by his stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:4-5 (NKJV) 🔗
🩸 RECOGNIZE THE PRICE OF YOUR HEALING
Our Lord Jesus chose the bread and the wine as elements of Holy Communion because they are practical, visual reminders of what happened to Him on the way to the cross.
🍇 The process of the wine: Grains and grapes must go through a crushing process before you can get bread or wine. You don't get wine by simply eating grapes; they must first be trampled and completely crushed, then left in the dark to ferment.
🍞 The process of the bread: This is exactly what happened to our Lord Jesus. It is important that you discern the Lord's body for your health. Each time you receive His broken body by eating the bread, do not rush. Take time to remember what He did for you and meditate on the process the bread had to go through.
In Jesus' time, stalks of wheat first had to be threshed (Judges 6:11) or beaten with a threshing sledge (Isaiah 41:15). It was a violent process involving beating, crushing, and cutting the wheat to separate the grain from the stalks. Then, the grain was ground into flour, water was added, and the dough was kneaded and punched before being baked in the fire. All of this is a picture of what happened to our Lord Jesus.
To become the Bread of Life for you and me, He was brutally beaten and pounded over and over again:
Condemned by the high priest and the Sanhedrin, they mocked Him, spat in His face, and struck Him (Luke 22:63–64; Mark 14:65).
Sent to Pontius Pilate, He was savagely scourged by the Roman soldiers (Matthew 27:26).
A scarlet robe was put on His beaten body, a crown of thorns woven and pressed onto His head. They hit Him on the head again and again, driving the thorns deeper and deeper into His flesh.
When "they were finally done mocking Him," they led Him away to be crucified (Matthew 27:27–31). All of this happened before His body was even nailed to the cross!
We can never fully imagine or understand the horrific torture, degrading humiliation, and excruciating pain our Savior endured for us. He suffered so that you and I do not have to bear the plague of sickness in our bodies. By His stripes, we are healed! Hallelujah 🙌🏾🔥
💪 Your Daily Duty After This Revelation
So today, keep the devil under your feet! Do not yield to symptoms trying to settle in your body, which is the temple of God. Be persistent and declare with assurance:
🗣️ "No, Satan! You cannot put any sickness on me today, regardless of the symptoms and no matter what my body feels. In Jesus' name, I command this demonic entity behind this infirmity to leave my body! He who is in me is greater than he who is in the world. I release the life of the vine into my body—since I am the branch—to manifest the life my Savior bought for me. Amen!" 🔥
Jesus’beloved . 🕊️
