EXHORTATION through the BOOK of LIFE

“do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,”

THE ESSENCE OF CHRISTIANITY

Beloved, since the fall of Adam, man lives according to his senses, led by his intellect under the pressure of Satan, who is the god of this age, “in whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not shine on them.”2 Corinthians 4:4

Nevertheless, our Heavenly Father, in His compassion for man created in His image, has always manifested Himself to man through dreams and visions (Job 33). “In the past God spoke to the ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe,” Hebrews 1:1-2.

And all these communications were received by revelation and then announced to those who should be concerned. The Apostle Paul, who gave us the revelation of the church, said, “How the mystery was made known to me by revelation (as I have already written briefly).”Ephesians 3:3

And the same apostle offered this prayer from the verse of the day for you and me, that our heavenly Father would give us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in His knowledge and in Ephesians 3:16-19, he prayed “that out of the riches of his glory he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to comprehend what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know this love of Christ that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”

You will notice that these prayers can only take effect in the life of one who knows His identity (2 Corinthians 5:17-21), for the spiritual can only be revealed either by our Heavenly Father for His children or by Satan for his own agenda.

Therefore, begin to personalize the prayers of the Apostle Paul in Ephesians, Colossians, and Philippians and observe the result.
