You have authority

EXHORTATION THROUGH THE BOOK OF LIFE

Scripture to Meditate On:

“Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you.” Titus 2:15 (NKJV) Read on Bible.com

YOU HAVE AUTHORITY!

Imagine a policeman standing in the middle of the street, raising his hand to stop a massive eighteen-wheeler truck. No matter how big or strong the truck is, it must stop—not because of the officer's physical size, but because he carries the authority of the state. Everyone bows to his badge and uniform.

You, on the other hand, have put on Christ. You are wearing His righteousness, His strength, His authority, and His name! As long as you are in Him, you carry His authority. Therefore, demons, adverse circumstances, sickness, disease, and fear must bow to the authority you are wearing—not to you, but to Christ in you.

Your Authority Comes in Three Ways:

1. Your Identity as Sons of God (1 John 3:1) As believers, we are called sons of God. Sons have authority in their Father's house, along with rights and an inheritance from the Father we represent (not our own strength). Stop begging; start commanding and declaring!

2. The Finished Work of Christ (Colossians 2:15) He triumphed over principalities and powers on our behalf, making a public spectacle of them. His conquest and victory are yours. You operate in the authority of Jesus' victory, enforcing the victory that has already been won!

3. The Blood of Jesus (Revelation 12:11) "They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb..." The blood purchased your redemption, cleansed you from sin, and gave you access to God and authority. The blood is your legal standing before God; it speaks on your behalf and stands as evidence of your redemption. Plead the blood over every situation!

When you walk in these truths, you possess total authority over all demonic entities, and they have no choice but to flee.

Jesus’ beloved,
