You are righteous so speak
EXHORTATION through the BOOK OF LIFE
Scripture to ponder on:
“For Moses writes that the man who practices the righteousness which is based on law [with all its intricate demands] shall live by it. [Lev 18:5] For with the heart a person believes [in Christ as Savior] resulting in his justification [that is, being made righteous—being freed of the guilt of sin and made acceptable to God]; and with the mouth he acknowledges and confesses [his faith openly], resulting in and confirming [his] salvation.”
Romans 10:5, 10 AMP
*THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF FAITH SPEAKS!*
Let me tell you something about faith. You cannot have faith and not declare it. When you study the book of Romans, chapter 10, you will notice that it says, “The righteousness that is by the law… But the righteousness that is by faith speaks.” The law aims to do, while faith consists of declaring. Therefore, it is not enough to simply know in your mind that you are righteous. It is not enough to read this chapter in Romans or hear a sermon on God's righteousness and mentally accept that you are righteous.
This is how many Christians miss out on Abraham's blessing. They do not declare their righteousness in God through faith. They declare what they see and what they feel (illness, lack, fear, etc.). Know that you must open your mouth daily and declare by faith: "I am the righteousness of God in Christ" (2 Corinthians 5:21). You cannot simply know that you are righteous; you must also believe and declare your righteousness in Christ. It is not faith until you declare it.
Your first reaction to a difficult situation is very important. Your first reaction when you discover a symptom in your body, when you receive a bad report, or when you face a trial, should always be to declare: “I am the righteousness of God in Christ, and the righteousness of God has delivered me from… and my life is a testimony of His grace.” It is at that moment that you need to declare it. Paul said, “And since we have the same spirit of faith, as it is written, ‘I believed, and therefore I declared,’ we also believe and therefore must speak” (2 Corinthians 4:13).
The spirit of faith clearly consists of believing and declaring. So, no matter how many sermons or books on righteousness you have heard and read, you must believe it and declare it. Don’t let the enemy keep you aware of sin. If you give him access, it’s as if Jesus did not become sin for you on the cross. The awareness of righteousness keeps you conscious of Jesus. Every time you declare it, you magnify the work of Jesus on the cross. So believe and speak the truth: “I am the righteousness of God in Christ, and my life is a testimony to His grace.” Then you will no longer be able to help but see the results of the magnificence of the Lord Jesus and His finished work!
Jesus’ beloved !
I am the righteousness of God in Jesus Christ, and my life is a testimony of His grace.
AMEN & AMEN 🙏🏾🙏🏾!!
