Who is Jesus to you
EXHORTATION through the BOOK OF LIFE
Scripture to ponder on:
“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age,”
Titus 2:11-12 NKJV
*WHO IS JESUS CHRIST TO YOU?*✨
At creation, Adam and Eve received the power to name the animals. By this act, they received dominion over every created species. Adam marked them with names that referred to a specific identity. After Adam and Eve succumbed to the pressure of Satan… They transferred to the serpent the dominion they had over him (Genesis 1:26-27; 3:1-6). They received his nature, as did their offspring (1 Corinthians 6:16).
You and I have therefore inherited this nature. Consequently, we seek solutions through our own efforts, just as Adam did after their disobedience to protect their nakedness. Then God, in His love for you and me, gave us His only begotten Son so that by believing in Him, each of us could become a child of God, redeemed from the kingdom of darkness by His blood and our sins forgiven (John 3:16-18; Colossians 1:13-14).
Today's verses invite you to appropriate the work accomplished by Jesus, which we call grace or God's unmerited favor. Once you have accepted Jesus, the Holy Spirit will shape the attributes of Jesus within you. Not only when He was in person in the world, but also as He sits at the right hand of the Father (John 14:12).
Through His finished work, our Lord Jesus has made you a new creation. Thus, you fully benefit from your new nature. Simply receive God's grace daily, and it will teach you, strengthen you… in everything you undertake, so that you may experience success. This is who He is to you: the grace that enables you to live in this world.
Jesus’ beloved !
AMEN & AMEN 🙏🏾🙏🏾!!
