What spirit have you received
EXHORTATION through the BOOK of LIFE
Scripture to ponder on:
“for God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind;”
2 Timothy 1:7 YLT98
WHAT SPIRIT HAVE YOU RECEIVED?
Fear is a powerful instrument that Satan uses against Christians to keep them prisoners and excluded from the life of faith in the work that the Lord Jesus accomplished for them, despite their memorization of Bible verses and their intensive service in various activities in the Church. As soon as the devil attacks, fear paralyzes them with all the negative consequences of the situation, making them forget all of God's promises. Fear is faith directed in the opposite direction and causes you to focus on your own efforts, distancing you from the benefits of your identity.
The verse of the day clearly shows you what God has given you as His beloved child. You have power and authority over all the power of Satan (Luke 10:19, Mark 16:17). You have the unconditional love of God who has forgiven all your sins, and you must yield to this love so that He may manifest Himself through you to others and enable you to help them come out of their darkness. Beloved, we live in a world where the powers of darkness are seeking whom they may devour: “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” 1 Peter 5:8
But the Word exhorts us to be sober, to be watchful, and not to give in to the roar (noise) of the devil, which tries to distract you from the reality that He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). So grow in your identity and take your place.
Jesus’ beloved !
AMEN & AMEN 🙏🏾🙏🏾!!
