EXHORTATION through the BOOK of LIFE

“remain in me, and I in you, as the branch is not able to bear fruit of itself, if it may not remain in the vine, so neither ye, if ye may not remain in me. ‘I am the vine, ye the branches; he who is remaining in me, and I in him, this one doth bear much fruit, because apart from me ye are not able to do anything;”

🕊️THE SECRET OF EFFORTLESS LIVING🕊️
I would like you to imagine a branch of a strong and healthy fruit tree. Notice that it doesn't worry about producing fruit or getting rid of dead leaves. As long as it receives the right amount of sunlight, water, and nutrients, its sap, rich in essential nutrients, circulates healthily and naturally pushes away all the dead leaves. And as long as its inner life – the life of its sap – continues to flow, new leaves appear on this branch, and good fruit grows, and it flourishes naturally.
Beloved of the Lord Jesus Christ, when you receive the sunlight of God's favor and drink from the water of His Word, feed on Jesus' forgiveness in your life and your righteous standing before God in Christ, the dead leaves of guilt, fear, and all kinds of disorders will be uprooted by the new life of Jesus in you.
This transformation is not based on your own discipline and self-control; it is truly effortless. It's no longer a matter of asking, "How will I overcome this anger problem?" or "How will I overcome this alcohol addiction?" Or, "How can I break this habit of overeating when I'm stressed and anxious?" Instead, the question becomes: "How will Jesus in me overcome this problem of anger, this vice, this habit of overeating?"
The solution lies in consuming the life-giving sap of Jesus that is within you, as mentioned in today's verses: without His sap, you cannot bear fruit and resist Satan.
So today, examine your life and receive the sap in the barren areas of your life so that you may bear much good fruit for the glory of your Savior!
Let us pray! Lord Jesus, I am your branch, and your sap flows through me according to your word. I destroy every stronghold that opposes the flow of your sap in my life in the name of Jesus, and I release Your sap into every organ of my body in the name of Jesus!
