EXHORTATION through the BOOK of LIFE
Scripture to ponder on:
”For Moses writeth that the man that doeth the righteousness which is of the law shall live thereby… for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.“
Romans 10:5, 10 ASV
***THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF FAITH DECLARES***
Let me tell you something about faith. You cannot have faith without declaring it. When you look at Romans 10, notice that it says “the righteousness which is of the law…..But the righteousness of faith speaks.” The law is about doing, but faith is about declaring. It is not enough to know in your mind that you are righteous. It is not enough to read this chapter or hear a sermon on righteousness and mentally accept that you are righteous. You must open your mouth and declare by faith, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ” as the apostle Paul invites us in 2 Corinthians 5:21. This is where many Christians miss the blessing of Abraham. They do not declare their righteousness by faith.
Your first reaction to a difficult situation is very important. Your first reaction when you experience a symptom in your body, when you receive a bad report, or when you are faced with a trial, should always be to declare, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ.” This is when you need to declare it. For it is written ; “For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.”
Psalms 5:12 NKJV : So by your acknowledgment of your righteousness in Christ, you activate the shield against everything coming against you and you activate the solution that the death and resurrection of Jesus has provided for you.
You can not only know that you are righteous, you must also believe and declare your righteousness in Christ. It's not faith until you declare it! Paul said, “And since we are of the same spirit of faith, according to that which is written, ‘I have believed, and therefore have spoken,’ we also believe, and therefore we speak” (2 Corinthians 4:13). The spirit of faith is clearly believing and declaring. So it doesn’t matter how many sermons or books on righteousness you have heard and read. You must believe it and declare it.
Don't let the enemy keep you conscious of sin. If you give him access, it is as if Jesus did not become sin for you on the cross. Awareness of your righteousness keeps you conscious of Jesus. Every time you declare it, you magnify the work of Jesus on the cross. So believe and speak the truth: “I am the righteousness of God in Christ.” The Lord, bless the righteous (me) ; With favor You will surround me as with a shield’’. Then you will no longer be able to help but see the results of the magnificence of the Lord Jesus and His finished work accomplished in your life.
Jesus’ beloved !
I am the righteousness of God in Jesus Christ, I have the grace of the Lord as a shield for myself and my family, in the mighty name of Jesus, AMEN & AMEN 🙏🏾🙏🏾!!
