The kingdom of God and His will
EXHORTATION through the BOOK of LIFE
Scripture to ponder on:
“Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.”
Matthew 6:10 NKJV
THE KINGDOM AND THE WILL OF GOD (I)
There are terms that are commonly used by Christians, and today we will address the expression "Your kingdom come and Your will be done." This phrase is part of the prayer that the Lord Jesus taught His disciples, and you and I are an integral part of it.
When Jesus taught this prayer, it wasn't so that we would accept misery and satanic oppression, but He taught us to establish the truth of heaven's life here on earth with authority, through to the revelation of our identity in Christ.
Indeed, the Word declares that “the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 14:17 )These manifestations are not mysterious things, for wherever righteousness reigns, peace prevails and joy overflows. The kingdom of God, which embodies His will, is manifest.
When you understand this truth, it transforms your prayer life from uncertainty to the certainty of blessing. From now on, you pray as an ambassador (2 Corinthians 5:20). You pray by reinforcing what the Word says with the word of command that comes out of your mouth. Know that every time you pray saying "if it is Your will," you are no longer in the realm of faith but in that of doubt.
However, the Word is clear. “But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”James 1:6-8 NKJV.
