Sowing and Reaping
EXHORTATION through the BOOK OF LIFE
Verse to meditate on:
“For he who sows to his flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.” — Galatians 6:8 (ESV)
THE LAW OF SOWING AND HARVEST
A Universal and Indispensable Law
There is a spiritual and universal law that sometimes eludes Christians, which is often the cause of many failures: the law of sowing and reaping.
The Lord God Himself established it:
“As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.” — Genesis 8:22 (ESV)
Today’s verse invites us to apply this principle in all areas of our lives.
Activating Our Identity in Christ.
Unfortunately, some worldly people use these principles of regularity and commitment to achieve success, while the Christian, by virtue of their identity, is fully equipped:
“Bless the Lord, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word!” (Psalm 103:20)
“Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?” (Hebrews 1:14)
Putting the Angels to Work.
The angels are waiting for the word that comes from your mouth continually, not just right after the time of prayer.
Remember Daniel: on the very day he prayed, the answer was released from heaven. However, he had to face the opposition of the powers of darkness (Daniel 10:11-14). Thanks to his persistence and steadfastness in prayer, the result finally became evident.
In the New Testament, you have received an even greater grace! So, put your angels to work, by constantly and continuously watching over the words that come out of your mouth, regardless of the circumstances.
Jesus’ beloved !
