I want to encourage you to make listening to the good news of Jesus a daily priority. Listen, I know how crazy and busy your days can be. But when the day is over and you have heard nothing about Jesus, you will feel empty, stressed, worried and depressed.

My friend, Jesus is the bread of life and the living water. No matter how busy you are, it is prudent not to neglect to feed on His person. I know that in the natural, it can seem simple. You may ask yourself: How can simply listening to Jesus change things in my life and my situation?

The truth is that God's things are not complicated. Think of the woman who suffered from bleeding for twelve years. The mere fact of hearing about Jesus and His grace gave her so much hope, so much faith and so much courage that she was able to receive the healing for which she had begun to believe. Don't underestimate the power to hear about Jesus just because it seems simple.

There is a beautiful passage in verse 14 of Psalm 90 which says: "Oh, fill us soon with your mercy." The word "mercy" here is the Hebrew word _hesed_, which means the grace of God. God tells us to be satisfied every day with His grace. Take time every day to recognize the presence of God in you (Matthew 28: 30). He likes to have an intimate relationship with you and wants to fill your heart with His grace, His peace, His wisdom and His joy.
