EXHORTATION through the BOOK OF LIFE

Scripture to ponder on:

““For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself: ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.” ’”

‭‭Acts‬ ‭2‬:‭34‬-‭35‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

REINFORCING THE VICTORY OF JESUS

Even though Satan lost all his authority on this earth the day Jesus rose from the dead, for over 2,000 years he has run as a spiritual outlaw, continuing to kill, steal, and destroy all those who allow him to do so. But know that he will not be able to do this much longer. A day will come when he will be completely defeated. A day is coming when the evil he has done here on earth will be completely crushed by the power of God.

Most Christians know this is true. They have shouted and rejoiced, but they haven't truly understood how it will happen. They haven't realized that they are the feet that must trample the works of the devil! Jesus is the head of the Church. You and I are the feet. We are the ones who must take His authority and power and trample sin, sickness, and everything else demonic on this earth. We are the ones God uses, as Acts 2:35 says, to make Jesus' enemies His footstool.

This is what Jesus was telling us when He said, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature... drive out demons... lay hands on the sick" (Mark 16:15-18). He was saying, "Go and be my footstool." He said, “All power and authority in heaven and on earth have been given to me. Therefore, you are equipped to crush the devil and his works.”

But instead of obeying Him, some wonder when God will do something about this mess here on earth. And they sit around wondering why it's taking so long for Jesus to return.

We are the reason it's taking so long! Jesus is waiting for you and me. He expects us to operate in His power, to put the devil in his place, and to win the world. He expects us to drop our foolish doctrinal differences and get busy doing what God has commanded.

The Bible says that one can put a thousand to flight, and two can put ten thousand to flight (Deuteronomy 32:30).

Every time we come together, we increase our strength astronomically. If only we would come together and discover who we truly are, if we would realize that we are the feet of Jesus, we could easily drive Satan out of earthly affairs. Do you want to hasten Jesus' return? Then stop sitting around staring at the clouds! Rise up with authority and begin to put the works of the devil under your feet, and we can conclude this matter and return home in glory very soon.

Therefore, declare your identity and receive its benefits every day: Father, I thank You for bruising Jesus and causing Him to suffer for my sake. I am dead to sin (Isaiah 53:10-11; 1 Peter 2:24).

Yes, Jesus is my Lord, and now I receive all the blessings of His suffering: I am healed from head to toe, and I command my body to align itself now with the finished work of Jesus.

I am a child of God (Galatians 4:6), filled and led by the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:14; Galatians 5:18) to establish the kingdom of God wherever I am.

Jesus’ beloved !
