EXHORTATION according to BOOK of LIFE
Writing on which to meditate:
“But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,”
Ephesians 2:4-6 NKJV
*REIGN AND RECEIVE*🔥🔥🔥
What you must understand is that personal effort will deprive you of reigning in life by the grace of God. You cannot earn your salvation, healing or financial breakthrough through your own efforts. If the greatest miracle - to be saved and made alive with Jesus - comes by grace by faith, and not by your works, how much more the small miracles, such as healing, provision and restored marriages?
It is not about your work or your performance, but about the work and performance of Jesus. Only His work is a completed work. And not only did He sit at the right hand of the Father, but today's Scripture declares that He also made us sit with Jesus! What does that mean? Well, my friend, "sitting" in the Bible is an image of the Christian resting in the perfect and completed work of Jesus.
In the new covenant, God's way is to bless you first, and the knowledge of His blessing then gives you the power to work more abundantly. In other words, we do not work to be blessed, but rather we have the power to work because we are already blessed. The apostle Paul, a preacher of God's grace and the completed work of Jesus, said that he "worked more abundantly than all of them" (1 Cor. 15:10). . Can you see the different abilities to work in the new covenant?
Today, let it be your prayer that you stop trying to win God's grace and righteousness. Let the Holy Spirit teach you to depend on the finished work of Jesus and to receive by His grace. It is God's way to success, fullness and victorious life.
Let us pray: Father today, I accept what my Lord Jesus Christ has done and I receive that by the power of your Spirit in my life so that what He has done and put in place for me becomes evident through me and in me in the name of Jesus! Amen
My friend, Jesus has accomplished everything for us on the cross. Our role is to trust His perfect work. Receive with open arms His abundance of grace and His gift of righteousness, and sit down and begin to reign in life through Him.
