Recall His compassions daily
EXHORTATION through the BOOK OF LIFE
Scripture to ponder on:
“This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope. Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.”
Lamentations 3:21-23 NKJV
🕊️*RECALL HIS
COMPASSIONS *DAILY*🔥
Our God is a faithful God (1 Corinthians 1:9). What does this mean? Well, it means that He always does what He promises. He is full of mercy (Psalm 40:12). His goodness and grace are with you every day. His compassions are new every morning. As a Christian, you know all this. Yet, knowing these things isn't enough.
To benefit from them, you must remember them again and again, in order to rekindle your hope and strengthen your faith. You must make it a habit to proclaim the Word over your life. Not this morning, not this evening, not between meetings, but every day! So, make the decision to declare God's faithfulness each morning. Remember that you possess the blessings that belong to you in Jesus.
What are these blessings? They are listed in Psalm 103:
1 God forgives all your iniquities .
2 He heals all your diseases.
3 He delivers your life from destruction.
4 He crowns you with love and compassion.
5 He satisfies your old age with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
6 The Lord vindicates you and sets you free.
7 He makes His ways known to you.
8 He gives you His grace and mercy in difficult times.
Every morning, declare these things aloud to the Lord. Stand before Him, before the throne of Grace, and in prayer, remember His compassion towards you. If you do this with perseverance, you will grow stronger in faith and, more than ever, you will be certain of God's love for you. Don't just know what God's blessings are. Proclaim them every day, and they will manifest in your life.
