EXHORTATION through the BOOK OF LIFE
Scripture to ponder on:
“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.”
Matthew 28:18-20 NKJV
*RECRUITER OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD*
In today’s scripture, a mission order is given to you by our Lord Jesus. This is the mission we call the Great Commission. Note that the Lord sends on missions with prudence. Like any good king who respects himself, this mission is accompanied by a seal. He specifies what the mission will consist of and, above all, how those who have been sent will be recognized.
In Mark 16:17-18, it is written: “And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”
Who are those who have believed? They are the children of light. What are the signs that bear the seal of the king? Freeing captives (casting out demons), speaking in new tongues (speaking in tongues, in particular), being irrepressible (so that they cannot be overcome), and the laying on of hands to transmit healing (through the power of the Holy Spirit).
In Luke 16:8, the Word of God says that “the master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly. So the children of this age are more shrewd in their generation than the children of light.” Your Savior dwells in you 24/7. He works for your future like that manager. He makes His power available to others so that it may be manifested through you by your actions and words.
Beloved, you have a duty to advance the kingdom of God through your works, your actions, and your words. What are you doing?
Jesus’ beloved !
AMEN & AMEN 🙏🏾🙏🏾!!
