Golden or Clay

EXHORTATION through the BOOK of LIFE
Scripture to ponder on:
“But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor.”
II Timothy 2:20 NKJV
THE CHOICE IS YOURS FOR YOUR CONSECRATION
Are you destined for greatness in the kingdom of God?
Ask this question to most Christians and they will humbly answer you that this is not the case. "You know, we can't all be golden vases," they will say. "As the Bible says, some of us are simply called to be little clay pots." That’s false.
Glory to God, the Bible says nothing like that!
There will certainly be gold vases in the kingdom and clay pots, but it is you - and not God - who determines your position. 2 Timothy 2:21 tells us that "whoever purifies himself [of what is ignoble and impure, who separates from contact with the polluting and corrupting influences] will be [then himself] a vase apart and useful for honorable and noble purposes, consecrated and profitable to the Master, fit and ready for every good work" translation of the amplified Bible).
Golden or clay vessels, the choice is yours!
Why then do so many Christians choose to do subordinate work in the kingdom of God? Why are they content to remain clay vessels ?
Because they are missing the one thing that every vessel of gold must have. They lack dedication. They did not make the right decision to part with contaminating influences. They did not want to turn away from the ways of the world and continue with God beyond the point of no return.
My friend, God is currently doing exciting things on this earth. HE performs signs and wonders, opening the way for the return of Jesus. This is an exciting time, but this is certainly not the time for clay pots! Wake up from the sleep of nonchalance and take the time to study His Word and align your will with His. Let the Holy Spirit act in you by applying the word of God on a daily basis in order to die from the works of the flesh and walk in higher ways: the ways of God.
Do it now because the time is drawing near. The holy spirit will not flow from clay pots but from golden vases - and this is exactly the price that Jesus paid and that He has called you to receive.
Your prayer:
Lord Jesus, I thank you for saving me, You redeemed me by Your blood and my sins are forgiven. The Father has translated me from the kingdom of darkness to Your kingdom of light! Now I am the habitation of God by the Spirit so that wherever I go, I manifest the light of the kingdom by bringing solutions to the marketplace!
