EXHORTATION through the BOOK of LIFE
Scripture to ponder on:
“He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.””
John 7:38 NKJV
🤔 *Should we deprive ourselves of this blessing? * 🤔
The apostle Paul asked the church of Corinth: "All of them have the gift of miracles? Do they all have the gift of healing? Do they all speak in tongues? Do they all interpret? "(1 Corinthians 12.30). In this passage, he invited Christians to express themselves a lot in tongues. Yet confusion reigns because not everyone speaks in tongues. Some Christians wonder if certain blessings of God are reserved for some elected representatives and if they come from God, why others are deprived of them?
When you speak in tongues, it is a personal conversation between Your Heavenly Father and you. Speaking to God in tongues, that is, pronouncing mysteries, is available to ALL Christians as soon as they are baptized in the Holy Spirit. It is therefore a matter of allowing the Holy Spirit, who dwells in you, to ask God for things in accordance with His will (Romans 8:26).
But what is it for? Speaking in tongues pursues a dual objective: to receive from God for his personal edification (spiritual growth) and to serve as a channel of blessings so that people are liberated, encouraged or consoled by the message of the Lord. Especially as the opportunity presents itself. So be sure well-loved speaking in tongues is available for all!
You may have discouraged yourself by thinking that not speaking in tongues means that this gift is not for you? Know that you are depriving yourself of something essential. Speaking in individual tongues is a prayer addressed to God. Its goal is to help you worship in spirit, to intercede in spirit for your spiritual, physical growth, your future and for others. Every Christian needs it. Beloved, I encourage you to seek the baptism in the Holy Spirit and to speak in tongues every day!
Jesus’ beloved !
AMEN & AMEN🙏🏾🙏🏾!!
