EXHORTATION through the BOOK of LIFE
Scripture to ponder on :
“But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!” And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?””
Matthew 14:30-31 NKJV
*DON'T BE DISTRACTED*FOCUS ON JESUS! *
If the devil finds a way to make you look away from the Word of God, he will implement it. It will create problems for you. He will create the noise, like a boat in a storm, the circumstances around you. He will do everything possible to make you focus your attention, not on God's promises, but on the domain of physical senses and the situation you are facing. Because Satan knows well that, if he does not do it, you will seize this promise and defeat him.
That's exactly what he did to Peter. When the latter jumped from the boat on Jesus' orders, what happened first? He walked on the waters without any problem. All his attention was fixed on the word that Jesus had said to him: "Come! But when he looked away from that word, and began to look at the storm, he suddenly realized that he was doing something impossible. After all, he was a fisherman.
All his training and experience told him that, if the waves reached this height, he could only drown! Instead of staying focused on what Jesus had told him, he considered what he knew naturally. The moment he did this, his faith faltered, and he began to sink. Don't let this happen to you too! If you receive a revelation from the Word of God, hold on to it. Don't be distracted by anything else.
The devil will do everything he can to distract you from this revelation. He will cause commotion around you. He will try to scare you. He will remind you of all kinds of things from your past to try to bring you back to your old way of thinking. But persevere! Fix your eyes on the Word of God, until it becomes more real to you than anything else. If you do, you will be quite capable of "walking on the waters"!
Jesus’ beloved !
AMEN & AMEN 🙏🏾🙏🏾!!
