Daily salvation in the Name of Jesus
EXHORTATION through the BOOK OF LIFE
Scripture to ponder on:
“The Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will save me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be the glory for ever and ever. Amen.”
2 Timothy 4:18 ASV
🤺🕊️DAILY SALVATION IN THE NAME OF JESUS🕊️🤺
Psalm 91 ends with the powerful verse: “With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.”
Many years ago, the Lord opened my eyes to see that besides the four names of God mentioned in the first two verses of Psalm 91, there is another name of God, a fifth name, hidden in the very last word of Psalm 91.
You see, in Hebrew, the word for "salvation" is the word Yeshua. And Yeshua is the Hebrew name of our Lord Jesus! Now, isn't that beautiful?
That's what God was saying: "With a long life, I will satisfy him and show him my Yeshua." Long life is found in our Yeshua. You may know God as El Elyon, the Most High God, the Almighty El Shaddai, Jehovah, and even Elohim, but the name that gives you complete and perfect confidence is the name of Jesus!
It's not enough to know that God is all-powerful. It's more important that you know God is willing to use His power and strength to deliver you in all your circumstances!
That's what our Lord Jesus did on the cross for you and me. He came and showed us His salvation by sacrificing Himself on the cross for your sins and my sins. He died young so that we might have long lives to glorify His work in the world.
On the cross, He purchased for us the gift of eternal life, paid for with His own blood. The moment you received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, your salvation in Him is safe and secure for the kingdom of God.
I grew up in a church where I was taught that when you sin, you lose your salvation and must be born again. This erroneous teaching oppressed my mind day and night. The enemy relentlessly attacked me, believing I had lost my salvation.
While I was seeking answers in the Lord one day, He opened my eyes and pointed me to the above Bible passage from 2 Timothy.
Just like that, when the truth of God's Word entered my life, all oppression left me. And whenever the thought that I had lost my salvation returned, I would quote this verse, boldly declaring, "It is written: 'And the Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will preserve me for his heavenly kingdom.'"
Beloved, I strongly encourage you to meditate on this Scripture. In this verse, you will find the Lord's protection, preservation, and provision for eternity!
Jesus’ beloved !
AMEN & AMEN 🙏🏾🙏🏾!!
