EXHORTATION through the BOOK of LIFE
Scripture to ponder on:
“casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,”
II Corinthians 10:5 NKJV
🤺*CAPTIVATE THOUGHTS**CONTRARY TO THE WORD OF GOD 🤺
It's not your environment that determines your success, it's your thoughts. This means that you must learn to act on your thoughts. Why? Because it is the privileged place of the enemy to attack you and make you inactive, weak, plagued by low self-esteem, self-hatred, guilt, eating disorders, perversions, disproportionate fears and all kinds of crazy habits and addictions.
Unfortunately, the enemy launched malicious disinformation campaigns that led to enslaving many Christians without their knowledge and for years. Your thoughts represent the most permeable, most sensitive place. Your thoughts and emotions must be identified, controlled, directed, disciplined in order to assist you in the spiritual battle and not to work against you.
Know that you have the ability to overthrow these "fortresses". You can dominate your negative thoughts and direct them towards positive thoughts. For this, your main weapon is in the truth of the Word of God. Appropriate the Word and you will see that these lies will collapse before the proclamation of your identity in Christ. And the way you can destroy these fortresses in your mind is "to bring all thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:5).
The next time you have negative thoughts, do these 3 things: visualize - confess - rest. Visualize the negative thoughts that run through your mind or the lies distilled in this world, see the cross, see Jesus. Then replace them with the Word of God; focus on Jesus' obedience to the Father on the cross, thanks to which you have been rendered just forever. Then, confess your identity in Christ by emphasizing the promises of the righteous and enter into the peace of God.
When you believe in the work done by Jesus for you, you release the power of God to live according to the work accomplished by His Son. Praise the Lord Jesus for His wonderful grace.
Jesus’ beloved !
AMEN & AMEN 🙏🏾🙏🏾!!
