Exhortation through the Book of Life
Scripture to ponder ;
“but they that wait for Jehovah shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:31 ASV
A great promise
to receive daily
It begins with, “But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength…”
This is not just a nice spiritual idea. It is a real and tangible exchange. Your weariness for His strength. Your stress for His peace. You cannot worry about anything as you wait on Him.
“... they shall mount up with wings like eagles…”
When you wait on Him, He lifts you above the noise, the rush, and the burdens.m of every day life. Like an eagle catching the wind, you rise without flapping or striving. He picks you up above every trouble and any pit set before you.
“... they shall run and not be weary…”
Yes, there is work ahead. There is parenting, serving, leading, showing up in all the places you are needed. But when He strengthens you, you are not running on empty. You are supernaturally lifted by His grace, and there is a divine ease even as you work. Never weary or tired for He renews you.
“... they shall walk and not faint.”
Even in the ordinary moments, as you head into work or move about the kitchen preparing your family’s meals, you’ll be strengthened and filled with His grace when you’re conscious that He is with you.
So let this truth nourish you. You don’t have to try to produce strength on your own. You can simply wait on our Lord Jesus and let Him renew your strength, only dwell on your consciousness of Him.
Jesus’ beloved!
AMEN & AMEN 🙏🏾🙏🏾!!
