You have authority

EXHORTATION through the BOOK of LIFE

Scripture to ponder on :

“These things speak and exhort and reprove with all authority. Let no man despise thee.”

Titus 2:15 ASV

YOU HAVE AUTHORITY

A policeman stands before an eighteen wheeler truck on the middle of the street and holds up his hands. The truck must stop no matter how big or strong it is because the officer has the authority of the state. So everyone has to bow to his badge and uniform.

You on the other hand has put on Christ, you are wearing His righteousness, His strength and His authority and His name! As long as you are in Him, you have His authority. Therefore, demons, circumstances, sicknesses and diseases, fear, all have to bow to the authority you are wearing. Not to you but to Christ in you.

Your authority comes in three ways:

• your identity as sons of God - 1 John 3:1 as believers we are called sons of God, and sons have authority in their Father’s house, you have rights and inheritance from the Father we represent not your own strength. So stop begging and start commanding and declaring.

• the finished work of Christ - Col 2:15 He triumphed over them on our behalf and made a public show of him. So His conquest and victory is yours. You operate in the authority of Jesus’ victory, enforcing the victory that’s already been won!

• The blood of Jesus - Revelation 12:11 they overcame by the blood of the Lamb… the blood is what purchased your redemption, cleansed you from sin, gave you access to God and His authority! The blood is your legal basis of standing before God. The blood speaks on your behalf and stands as evidence of your redemption, plead the blood over every situation.

So when you believe all these, you have total authority over satan and all his demonic entities and they have to run with their tails between their legs when you command them to go!

Jesus’ beloved!n
