EXHORTATION according to the BOOK OF LIFE
Verse to meditate on:
“For the grace of God hath appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us, to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly and righteously and godly in this present world;”
Titus 2:11-12 ASV
WHO IS JESUS CHRIST TO YOU?
Beloved, in each person's life, Jesus Christ is defined by His identity, manifested by His character, and expressed through His actions.
After Adam and Eve succumbed to Satan's influence, forgetting that this serpent had been named by Adam and that they had dominion over him (Genesis 3:1-6 / 1:26-27), they received his nature. 1 Corinthians 6:16. Their descendants received the same nature, and you and I have inherited this nature. Therefore, we seek solutions through our own efforts, just as Adam did, to protect our nakedness. Then, God, in His love for you and me, gave us His only Son so that by believing in Him you might become a child of God with your sins forgiven. He also redeemed you from the kingdom of darkness by His blood (John 3:16-18 / Colossians 1:13-14).
Today's verses refer to the personification of the work accomplished by Jesus, which we call grace (God's undeserved favor). Let's take a concrete example: you parked your car in a paid parking lot, and your time expired. Upon your return, the payment system gave you free time to retrieve your vehicle. This is exactly what the word grace means. After you accept Jesus, the Holy Spirit equips you with all the attributes of Jesus, not only when He He was present in the world, but also as He is seated at the right hand of the Father (John 14:12).
Now, what are you doing while you're away with your car? Are you quickly getting it back and joyfully going about your business? Let's return to the work our Lord Jesus accomplished to make us new creatures. To fully benefit from our new nature, you must rely on the work that made you a new creation in all your endeavors, and you will be successful.
That is why Jesus is the grace that allows you to live in this world.
Jesus’ beloved !
AMEN & AMEN 🙏🏾🙏🏾 !!
