Who do you heard ?
EXHORTATION through the BOOK OF LIFE
Scripture to ponder on:
“But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art a stumbling-block unto me: for thou mindest not the things of God, but the things of men.”
Matthew 16:23 ASV
WHO DO YOU HEAR?
Beloved, since the fall of man from the Garden of Eden, Adam lost the privileged relationship he had with God. He received the corrupt nature of Satan (1 Corinthians 6:16). It is this nature that leads to blindness to God's ways and pushes you to want to act according to your own emotions or your reasoning, which are subject to Satan.
What is the result? If you look closely, every time a person turns away from the ways of the Lord, the result is many mistakes, pain, and various forms of anxiety and stress.
The Bible declares: “There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.” (Proverbs 14:12). In your daily life, what paths do you take to achieve your goals? Is it the easy way because you tell yourself that no one sees you? Or is it the path of God's wisdom?
In Matthew 16, we have a specific example. Peter received the revelation of Jesus' identity (Matthew 16:16). But before his death, he opposed the execution of the plan of salvation, that is, the death of Jesus. Make sure that what you say reveals whom you are listening to.
Jesus’ beloved !
AMEN & AMEN 🙏🏾🙏🏾!!
