EXHORTATION through the BOOK of LIFE

Scripture to ponder on

“Giving thanks to the Father who did make us meet for the participation of the inheritance of the saints in the light, who did rescue us out of the authority of the darkness, and did translate [us] into the reign of the Son of His love,”

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭1‬:‭12‬-‭13‬ ‭YLT98‬‬

YOU LIVE IN THE LIGHT. SO TURN IT ON

Christianity is a life of communion with Jesus Christ, His work, and the new creation. Your identity is linked to your death and resurrection. “We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” Romans 6:4 Your life is no longer yours because “we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin—for he who has died has been set free from sin.” Romans 6:6-7

Today’s verse mentions two categories of saints: Abraham and Lot; led by the Spirit of God or by human intelligence operating according to the old self, which is under Satan’s dominion.

You, on the other hand, as a Christian, live as a representative of the kingdom of light, and you must reinforce your identity so as not to succumb to the pressures of the kingdom of darkness that covers the world.

Let’s move on to a practical application for this new week.

Father, I thank you for delivering me from the authority of darkness to the kingdom of your beloved Son. You are a God faithful to Your word. You cannot go back on your word. You said You would protect me. You said that nothing from the kingdom of darkness can touch me. I believe it and I proclaim it! Let the devil beware: he has no right in my life. I do not belong to him; I belong to you, Father. You keep me safe because I have confessed Your Son as Lord. Sickness and disease is foreign to me. They are not part of Your kingdom, Father; they are foreign entities, they have no place in my life. So, sickness, infirmity, ailments, I now command you, in the name of Jesus, to leave Jesus’s property. My body, I command you to function as you should: every organ, every tissue, everything from head to toe, function properly. Do your work, and I will glorify God with my body and with my mouth; I will praise You, Father. I have died to sin and I live unto righteousness, and by the stripes of Jesus I have been healed, and I am well, strong, blessed, encouraged, and faithful, in the name of Jesus. So now, everything in me that is not of God and His kingdom, I command you to go, in the name of Jesus. It shall be so, and no other way, and I don’t mean maybe. So be it!

Jesus’ beloved !
