EXHORTATION through the BOOK of LIFE

Scripture to ponder on :

“For all that is in the world—the lust and sensual craving of the flesh and the lust and longing of the eyes and the boastful pride of life [pretentious confidence in one’s resources or in the stability of earthly things]—these do not come from the Father, but are from the world. The world is passing away, and with it its lusts [the shameful pursuits and ungodly longings]; but the one who does the will of God and carries out His purposes lives forever.”

‭‭1 John‬ ‭2‬:‭16‬-‭17‬ ‭AMP‬‬

*THE TEMPORAL OR THE ETERNAL*

Beloved, do you know that your world is defined by your language? The Bible clearly tells us that the mouth of the righteous is a source of life; the mouth of the wicked covers violence. (Proverbs 10:11).

The word "world", in the biblical context, is defined by your area of influence. Psalm 91 declares "that a thousand fall on your side, ten thousand on your right, nothing will reach you; you will only look with your eyes and you will see the reward of the wicked." And he continues by saying: "Because you are my shelter, Lord! - You make the Most High your refuge." (Psalms 91:7-9)

The reason for your protection is the trust you put in the Lord. It's because you made the Most High your refuge. Now replace the word "refuge" for world". And see all the difference! This opens up a totally different perspective for you.

So, when around you there is only bad news, stress, etc. remember that your trust is in the Lord and not in the things of this world. Recognize that the Lord is with you 24 hours a day. And in His faithfulness, He takes care of you. This is the application of the verse above. Create your world by putting your angels to work!

Jesus’ beloved !
