EXHORTATION through the BOOK of LIFE
Scripture to ponder on :
“For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
Romans 10:5, 10 KJV
THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF FAITH
SPEAKS 👄
Let me tell you something about faith. You can't have
faith and not declare it. When you study the book to the Romans in chapter 10, you will notice that it is written that "righteousness which is of the law [...] But the righteousness of faith speaks." The law aims to do, while faith consists of declaring. So it is not enough to know in your mind that you are right. It is not enough for you to read this chapter to the Romans or to hear a sermon on God's righteousness and mentally accept that you are righteous.
This is where many Christians miss Abraham's blessing. They do not declare their righteousness in God by faith. They declare what they see and what they feel (illness, lack, fear, etc.). Know that you must open your mouth every day and declare by faith: "I am the righteousness of God in Christ" (2 Corinthians 5:21). You can not only know that you are righteous, you must also believe and declare your righteousness in Christ. It's not faith until you declare it
Your first reaction to a difficult situation is very important. Your first reaction when you discover a symptom in your body, when you receive a bad report or when you are faced with an ordeal, should always be to declare: "I am the justice of God in Christ and the righteousness of God has delivered me from ....". That's when you need to declare it. Paul said: "And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written," I believed and therefore declared, "we also believe and therefore speak" (2 Corinthians 4:13).
The spirit of faith clearly consists of believing and declaring. Thus, no matter how many sermons or books about righteousness you have heard and read. You have to believe it and declare it. Don't let the enemy keep you aware of sin. If you give him access, it's as if Jesus hadn't become a sin for you on the cross. The awareness of righteousness keeps you aware of Jesus. Every time you declare it, you magnify the work of Jesus on the cross. So, believe and speak the truth: "I am the righteousness of God in Christ." Thus you will no longer be able to stop seeing the results of the magnificence of the Lord Jesus and His finished work!
Jesus’ beloved !
