EXHORTATION through the BOOK OF LIFE
Scriptures to ponder on :
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,”
II Corinthians 5:17-18 NKJV
THE REALITY OF THE NEW CREATURE #1
When we speak of the new creation, we are not talking about patching up your nature, for it is written: “Jesus answered him, ‘Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.’” John 3:3
After the fall of Adam and Eve, their descendants lost the spiritual nature that allowed them to commune with the Lord and were subjected to Satan (1 Corinthians 6:17), and we see the result in the world.
Therefore, to restore humanity to communion with God the Father, it took a man like Adam to take upon Himself this evil spirit and bear its consequences for humanity: dishonor, condemnation, scourging, and death on the cross, and His resurrection (Romans 5:19/1 Corinthians 15:45/1 Peter 2:24).
Now, when you accept Jesus and believe in His name (John 1:12-13), you become a child of God with the right to appear before the Father without fear, for now you are His child and a beneficiary of all that Jesus suffered. Then God gives you the Spirit of His Son as a guarantee of belonging to Him. This is the very essence of today's verses!
Let's put this into practice.
Father, I thank You for reconciling me to Yourself through the work of Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ. I receive Him and believe in His name! I am a new creation, and all the old things have passed away. Everything in me today has become new and comes from you!
I thank you for giving me the Spirit of Your Son to enable me to live in this world for Your glory in every area of life, in the name of Jesus!
Nb, take the time to read the verses included in this exhortation.
Jesus’ beloved !
AMEN & AMEN 🙏🏾 🙏🏾 ! !
