The Holy Ghost and Grace work together
EXHORTATION THROUGH THE BOOK OF LIFE
Scripture to ponder on:
“Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh?” — Galatians 3:3 (NKJV)
🕊️ THE HOLY SPIRIT AND GRACE WORK TOGETHER 🕊️
How were you first touched by Jesus? Was it through the law, or was it His grace in your life that touched your heart? We all began our relationship with the Lord because we were touched by His love and grace. Let us continue in that grace.
The Danger of Legalism: Paul takes this very seriously. He calls any gospel other than the gospel of grace (God’s undeserved favor) a perversion. Trying to be justified by the works of the law is a perversion of the gospel of Christ (Galatians 1:6–7).
A Direct Question: Paul asked the church in Galatia point-blank: "Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by hearing through faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now perfected by the flesh [personal effort]?" (Galatians 3:2–3)
The Finished Work: Don't begin with grace and then turn back on your efforts. Justification and sanctification come from our faith in the finished work of Jesus alone.
Security in Christ: When you are established in the covenant of Grace, you experience immense trust and security. Your dependence shifts from your own striving to His unearned favor, allowing the Holy Spirit to guide you.
God at Work: Your duty is to receive His grace and daily refreshment, knowing that your life is hidden with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3). Think, speak, and act knowing that "it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose" (Philippians 2:13).
Always remember that you are on a mission for God in the world!
Jesus’ beloved!
AMEN & AMEN 🙏🏾 🙏🏾 ! !
