THE FAITH OF GOD #2

When the Lord created man, it was for “God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light. And God said, ‘Let there be a vault in the midst of the waters to separate the waters from the waters.’” Genesis 1:3, 6 NIV

Note: God used His voice to command existence according to His will. Then He created you and me. He commanded precisely, “Then God said, ‘Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.’ So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” Genesis 1:26-27.

Unfortunately, at the Fall, man and woman lost God’s dominion and submitted their minds to Satan, so that only things contrary to God’s life come out of their mouths, leading to their own destruction and the destruction of others.

In today’s verse, the Word speaks to us of the power of the tongue as the origin of the direction of your life; life or death, abundance and being a blessing to others, or poverty, which is a curse.

You have been redeemed from the curse (Galatians 3:13) and the powers of darkness, and you are planted in the kingdom of the beloved Son of God (Colossians 1:12-14). Therefore, you have the Holy Spirit and are equipped with the Word of God as your inheritance.

Thus, we have the pattern from the first page to the last of the Bible: God created by His Word, Jesus healed by His Word, and the apostles healed by their words.

Today, you don't need to wait for a crisis to arrive to pray. You must declare your identity daily and proactively declare God's Word of healing in your life before illness strikes, abundance in your finances before crisis hits, and peace in your home before conflict erupts.

Let's move on to application #2.

When financial pressure intensifies, it's time to pray: Father, I thank You for providing for all my needs according to your riches, with glory, in Jesus Christ; I trust You as my source and the One who provides for all my needs. Then, command the lack (the mountain), address it directly. My God is El-Shaddai, the God of abundance; I command every door of provision to open. I declare that I am blessed, that I am the head and not the tail, that I lend and do not borrow, for the Word of the Lord declares it over my life.
