The choice is yours
EXHORTATION through the BOOK of LIFE
Scriptures to ponder on:
“And in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth, and some to honour, and some to dishonour: if, then, any one may cleanse himself from these, he shall be a vessel to honour, sanctified and profitable to the master — to every good work having been prepared,”
2 Timothy 2:20-21 YLT98
THE CHOICE OF YOUR CONSECRATION IS YOURS!
Are you destined to accomplish great things for the kingdom of God?
If you ask this question to most Christians, they will humbly answer no. “You know, we can’t all be golden vessels,” they will say. “As the Bible says, some of us are simply called to be clay pots.” That’s false.
Glory to God, the Bible says nothing of the sort!
There will certainly be vessels of gold and clay pots in the kingdom, but it is you—not God—who determines your place. 2 Timothy 2:21 tells us that “ if, then, any one may cleanse himself from these, he shall be a vessel to honour, sanctified and profitable to the master — to every good work having been prepared,”
Why then do so many Christians choose to perform menial tasks in the kingdom of God? Why are they content to remain clay vessels?
Because they lack consecration. They have not made the right choice by detaching themselves from harmful influences. They refused to turn away from the ways of the world and persevered with God to the point of no return.
My friend, God is currently accomplishing extraordinary things on this earth. He is performing signs and wonders, thus preparing for the return of Jesus. This is an exciting time, but it is certainly not the time to become passive! Come out of your passivity and take the time to study His Word and align His will with yours. Let the Holy Spirit work in you by applying God's Word daily so that you may die to the works of the flesh and walk on higher paths: the ways of God.
Do it now, for today is the day, and the Holy Spirit does not flow from an earthen vessel, but from a golden one—and this is precisely the price Jesus paid and that He is calling you to receive.
Let us pray
Lord Jesus, I thank You for saving me. You have redeemed me by Your blood, and my sins are forgiven and remitted. The Father has brought me from the kingdom of darkness to Your kingdom of light! Now, through the Spirit, I am a dwelling place for God, so that wherever I go, I may manifest the light of the kingdom by bringing about concrete solutions.
Jesus’ beloved !
AMEN & AMEN 🙏🏾🙏🏾!!
