EXHORTATION through the BOOK

Scripture to ponder on :

“And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and there shall no plague be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.”

THE BLOOD OF JESUS YOUR RECEIPT

AGAINST THE DESTROYER l

Beloved as a child of God (John 1:12) redeemed by the precious Blood of His Son (Eph 1:7), you have access to divine protection against all the plagues of the world.

Let us go back to the first celebration of the feast of salvation and liberation (Easter) the Lord had given precise instructions: “And they shall take of the blood, and put it on the two side-posts and on the lintel, upon the houses wherein they shall eat it.”

‭‭Exodus‬ ‭12‬:‭7‬ ‭ASV‬‬ after slaughtering the lamb without blemishes, it’s blood had to be applied at the entrance of each house to ensure protection against the judgment of the Lord. And none of the people in that house was killed. You know this story because it is in your Bible and even underlined.

For them, blood was a protective sign because a lamb had been slaughtered in their place and they were forbidden to eat Blood (Lev .17:11)

You have been redeemed by the precious Blood of Jesus. And HE instructs you to eat His flesh and drink His Blood in remembrance of Him (1 Corinthians 11:24-25) and in addition you have the possibility with your mouth to cover your family with the Blood of Jesus for protection against the plagues of the world. In the same way that the blood of the lamb had protected the people of God in Egypt.
