EXHORTATION through the BOOK of LIFE

Scripture to ponder on :

“And Jehovah saith to Noah, ‘Come in, thou and all thy house, unto the ark, for thee I have seen righteous before Me in this generation;”

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭7‬:‭1‬ ‭YLT98‬‬

                        SAFE IN THE ARK

Do you remember how Noah was safe in the ark when the floodwaters arrived? Even if Noah was not perfect, God considered him just because of his faith in God (Hebrews 11:7).

When the flood came, everyone outside the ark died, but Noah and his family were protected and saved. Because they were in the ark, which is a type of Christ, who is our salvation (Acts 4: 12).

The ark had no windows on the sides, only on the roof. The truth here is that God does not want you to focus on all the darkness, terror and evil that surrounds you and in the world. He wants you to look up and know that His Son is coming back for you.

I want you to see something else: I think there were times when Noah could have lost his balance and fallen when the storm waters crashed against the ark. But Noah fell into the ark; he never fell from the ark.

In your case as a Christian today, when the devil tempts you and you fall, you do not lose your position in Christ; you are always in Christ. In the book of Proverbs, it is said: "For a righteous person can fall seven times and rise" (Prov. 24: 16).

You see, a Christian does not fall out of his right position and does not get out of it. Our righteousness today is a gift from our Lord Jesus Christ (Rom. 5: 17). This means that even if we may fail from time to time because we are human beings in full maturity as our spirit is renewed, we are always in Christ our Ark and do not lose.

His redemption gave us blessings for free. Now, in case you ask yourself the question, does it make someone want to live contrary to the truth? Certainly not! I believe that knowing that you are just in Christ makes you live responsibly and in honor towards the Lord (Rom. 6: 10-14). The revelation of our righteousness in Christ produces a righteous life (Titus 2: 11-12). So align your words with your identity!

Jesus’ beloved !
