EXHORTATION through the BOOK OF LIFE
Scripture to ponder on:
“Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, That do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.”
Psalm 103:20 KJV
PUT YOUR ANGELS TO WORK
Psalm 103:20 tells us that the angels listen to and obey “the voice of His word.” Who gives voice to the Word of God? You do! Every time you declare the Scriptures aloud, you give voice to His Word, and the angels respond. When you declare, “Father, I thank You that no harm will befall me today, and no plague or sickness will come near my dwelling,” the angels listen to the voice of God’s spoken Word. Angels cannot read your thoughts, so declare His Word!
I want to encourage you to study God’s Word and memorize some verses. When you feel overwhelmed by fear, learn to declare God’s Word. God’s power lies dormant within you until you declare it. When you do, it becomes real. And the power of what you declare enables God to stand up in your situation against whatever you are facing.
In the book of Hebrews, chapter 1, verse 14, it says that God’s angels are “all ministering spirits sent to minister to those who will inherit salvation.” Notice that this passage doesn't say "serve for" but "serve those" who will inherit salvation. That is, the Christian, so you and I. This is an important distinction because it means they are waiting for our instructions. We must speak to activate them. They are waiting to respond to our words; they won't automatically examine all our needs.
You activate the action of angels when you declare, for example, "He will surely deliver me from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence." You unleash your heavenly army when you proclaim, "A thousand may fall at my side, ten thousand at my right hand, but they cannot come near me." Our Lord Jesus Himself demonstrated the importance of the Word of God spoken aloud in the desert when He said three times, "It is written," quoting the Word of God. I don't know about you, but I am determined to speak the Word of God in good times and bad!
Jesus’ beloved !
AMEN & AMEN 🙏🏾🙏🏾!!
