Prayer is not an option

EXHORTATION according to the BOOK of LIFE

*PRAYING IS NOT AN OPTION*

Let us pray: Father, I thank You that I prosper in every way. Thank You that I am in health just as my soul is, in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen.

Today's verse is a prayer from the Apostle John addressed to Elder Gaius. The Apostle John acknowledges that his spiritual health has increased. He prayed that the same would happen to his physical health.

This leads us to understand that we need prayer to grow in our identity and also to pray for others according to God's Word. God not only wants our spiritual prosperity, but also our full health and material prosperity. Even during His ministry, Jesus Himself acted in accordance with His Father (John 8:29). All this to encourage you to put God's Word in your mouth for everything you want to see accomplished.

As a Christian, know that prayer is not an option. You are righteous in Christ. And what should the righteous do? Beloved, God's Word declares: “Give thanks to the Lord, you his mighty angels! You do his bidding and obey whenever you hear his voice” (Psalm 103:20 NKJV). I love this verse in this version of the Bible because it's exactly what the angels are waiting for: to hear the voice (the word) of the Christian (child of God) coming from your mouth and acting. So make Matthew 28:19-20 your reality.
