EXHORTATION through the LIFE BOOK
Scriptures to ponder on :
“buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,”
Colossians 2:12-13 NKJV
**THE PERFECT SACRIFICE**
FOR YOUR COMPLETE FORGIVENESS AND
YOUR COMPLETE HEALING **
Beloved you will never be sure of having the undeserved favor of God if you are not sure that God has forgiven all your sins. Realize once and for all that your sins are not forgiven according to the richness of your good works, but according to the richness of the grace of God (undeserved favor). All your sins (past, present and future) have been forgiven. And you died to sin and you live righteous before God (1 Peter 2:24).
Some Christians believe that the forgiveness they received extends only from the day they were born to the day they became Christians. From that moment on, they think they must be very careful in case they lose their salvation. This belief is simply not biblical but diabolical. Colossians 2:13 states that we have been forgiven of all our sins by the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. We have been forgiven once and for all!
In the new covenant, Jesus, our high priest, offered complete and perfect sacrifice "once and for all when he offered himself" (Hebrews 7:27). He took upon Him all the sins you will commit during your lifetime; HE paid once and for all the total price of all your sins on the cross. So Christ does not need to be crucified again for your future sins. In fact, your whole life was in the future before you were born and now you have become a new creature.
Now that you know that your debt of sin has been completely erased and settled by Jesus on your behalf, do not expect God to treat you according to your sins. When something negative happens, do not imagine that God comes after you because of what you have done. It is rather the devil who will come to accuse you in your ears. And you don't need to wait and give him this opportunity because you have an Advocate before the Father (1 John 2:1), you, speak what you did to the Father.....when you understand the high price that Christ has paid for your sins because of His love for you, sin and everything else will lose its influence in your life.
Jesus’ beloved !
AMEN & AMEN 🙏🏾🙏🏾!!
