EXHORTATION through the BOOK OF LIFE
Scripture to ponder on:
“And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the canker-worm, and the caterpillar, and the palmer-worm, my great army which I sent among you.”
Joel 2:25 ASV
PERFECT RESTORATION
When we speak of restoration, it is important that we recognize humanity’s fall due to Adam’s disobedience. “The Lord saw that the wickedness of the world was increasing, and that the inclinations of their hearts were constantly and completely toward evil.” Genesis 6:5
And God chose a people to be a people consecrated to Him so that they could be an example of His glory in every area of their lives. You know the rest.
After these failures, God sent His own Son to redeem humanity from this bondage to Satan through the new birth (2 Corinthians 5:17-21). He abolished the Jewish law with its commandments and regulations, and made peace with both of them. By this he made peace through Christ, who by his death on the cross united them all to God and reconciled them by the cross to put to death their hostility. Ephesians 2:15-16
Now this new creation that you are remains in your spirit, for your body, soul, and human spirit have been corrupted. And your human spirit must be absorbed by the Spirit of God, and the more you align your heart and words with the Word related to your identity, the more the Spirit of God absorbs your human spirit, the more your soul and your body aligns. “For it is with the heart that one believes, and God justifies the one who believes; it is with the mouth that one professes one's faith, and God saves the one who does so.” Romans 10:10 “The word saved is used to describe the uprooting from a dark situation to freedom.”
Today’s verse is taken from the time when God’s people were living in disobedience, and God asked them to repent for the restoration of God’s blessing in all their activities.
For you, Christian, God has placed within you the same Spirit as that of His Son (Galatians 4:6), and this Spirit has all the information you desire to escape the misery into which the teachings of waiting for God have plunged you. The Word is clear: “The one who is to help you will come. He is the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father. I will send him to you from the Father, and he will testify about me.” John 15:26 .The Apostle Paul, who received the revelation of the Church, was filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues more than the entire church in Corinth. “I thank God that I speak in tongues more than all of you.” 1 Corinthians 14:18. Resolve to ask God the Father to refresh you daily with the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him (Ephesians 1:17-23) so that you may fulfill your destiny for His glory and your joy
Jesus’ beloved !
