EXHORTATION according to the BOOK OF LIFE
Verse to meditate on:
“And he brought them out with silver and gold, and there was not a sick person among their tribes.”
Psalm 105:37 (NIV)
NO SICK OR POOR AMONG THEM 🏦
What happened when the children of Israel ate the Passover lamb on the very first night of Passover (the feast of salvation and liberation)? That same night, God freed the Israelites from severe oppression. That same night, the Lord freed them from captivity at the hands of the Egyptians. But that wasn't all.
The Bible states that there was not a single weakling among the 600,000 men who left Egypt on the night of the Exodus (Exodus 12:37). If you include women and children, scholars estimate that approximately two to three million Israelites were freed that night. And among them, not one was weakened!
Do you think that, quite naturally, everyone in that nation of slaves could have been completely strong and healthy? Think of the backbreaking labor the Israelites were forced to perform and the whippings they endured under their slave masters (Exodus 1:13-14). Not to mention the malnutrition they likely endured due to the poor diet and the abject living conditions they faced.
Despite years of hard work, not one of them came out sick, stumbled, lacked strength, or had health problems. And among them, there were certainly elderly slaves as well. So how is it possible that the Bible reports that "no one was weak"?…
Jesus’ beloved!
AMEN & AMEN 🙏🏾🙏🏾!!
