Scripture to ponder on
“And Jesus lifted up himself, and said unto her, Woman, where are they? did no man condemn thee? And she said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said, Neither do I condemn thee: go thy way; from henceforth sin no more.]”
John 8:10-11 ASV
🤷🏾🎈 **NO ONE CONDEMNS ME** 🎈🤷
The verse above tells us the story of the so-called adulterous woman and her encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ. She certainly did not expect to be caught red-handed in the act of adultery, and even less to be dragged and thrown at the feet of the Lord Jesus. When the scribes and Pharisees dragged her with a certain barbarism, they expected Jesus to condemn her. None of them was ready to hear him say: "Let the one of you who is without sin should throw a stone at him first!"
At that moment, you see, their consciences were stung, their hardened hearts had to bend before the mirror that Jesus set before them. They left, one after the other starting with the oldest, leaving her alone in front of the Lord Jesus. When HE raised His head, HE said to him: "Where are your accusers? Is no one condemning you?"
Jesus knew how important it was for this woman to realize and say to herself, "No one condemns me, Lord." The Only One who had the right to condemn her did not do so, because HE knew that HE would go to the cross to be punished and condemned in their place.
Something happens when you know that God does not condemn you today because of the cross. A weight is removed from your shoulders. You receive both peace and freedom. The woman received the power to "no longer sin (which was her problem)". Likewise, you too receive the power to overcome sin and even to rise from your state and receive your deliverance.
Beloved, you are free. Jesus does not condemn you. On the contrary, HE expects that
you stop disqualifying yourself by your past and grow in the provision that His death and Resurrection have arranged for you. Take care to personalize these verses
below and declare them first thing when you wake up and the last thing to do before sleeping. Declare as many times as possible during the day.
You are a new creature (2 Cor 5:17).
You are complete in Him (Col 2:10).
You are just (2Cor 5:21; Rom 5:19).
You are well loved (1 John 3:1).
All your sins have been forgiven (Eph 1:7; 1John 1:7).
You are accepted (Eph 1:6).
You are healed ( Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24)
You are rich and provided for (2Corin 8:9, Phil 4:19)
In a practical way, that's how to be a Christian!
Jesus’ beloved !
AMEN & AMEN 🙏🏾🙏🏾!!
