EXHORTATION through the BOOK of LIFE
Scripture to ponder on:
“Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”
Romans 8:37 NKJV
🎚️🤺 MORE THAN A CONQUEROR 🏆
Beloved, do you have the revelation of God's unique love for you today? His love must be inked in your heart.
Mental knowledge - the simple fact of knowing intellectually that God loves you because HE loves everyone - will not be enough. It is when you really meet the person of Jesus and His grace, and you really know in your heart that HE loves you, that positive and profound changes will occur in your life.
Is there a scriptural basis to say this? Yes there is. The Bible tells us clearly: "Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord" (2 Peter 1: 2). The word for "knowledge" here is the Greek epignosis, which refers to a personal and practical experience of what God is and who God is, rather than a simple intellectual knowledge of the facts concerning Him.
It is a knowledge that is acquired through an intimate and personal relationship with God. In other words, when you hear and understand deeply in your heart that the Lord loves you and is for you, you will experience His undeserved favor and His supernatural peace in the field of your challenges.
Do you remember Gideon, who saw himself the least in his family and who threshed wheat by the winepress for fear of being seen by the Midianites?
We read his story in the book of Judges and see how he overcame his insecurities and fears and saved Israel all by himself, from the Midianites, because he first heard the kind and encouraging words of the Angel of the Lord: "The Lord is with you, you powerful man of value! . . . Certainly, I will be with you, and you will defeat the Midianites as one man" (Judges 6: 12, 16). When he began to see how the Lord saw him and believed that the Lord was with him and for him, he fulfilled his destiny!
If, like Gedeon, you feel small and helpless in the face of your challenges, I encourage you to continue to grow in the revelation of how, thanks to the sacrifice of Jesus, nothing can separate you from the love of God. I want you to know now that He has already made you more than a conqueror in Christ (Rom. 8: 37-39).
When you know who you are in Christ and believe in God's love for you, you will become strong and you will see God accomplish great things in you and through you. When you know that God is with you and for you, who or what can oppose you (Rom. 8:31)? You will surely win the fights of life and live the incredible destiny that God has prepared for you!
Jesus’ beloved !
AMEN & AMEN 🙏🏾🙏🏾!!
