EXHORTATION according to the BOOK OF LIFE
Verses to meditate on
“For he bore our griefs and carried our sorrows. We thought he was stricken, stricken by God and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions and crushed for our iniquities. The chastening that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we were healed.”
Isaiah 53:4-5 NKJV
KNOW THE PRICE OF YOUR HEALING
Our Lord Jesus chose bread and wine as the elements of Holy Communion because they are practical and visual reminders of what happened to Him on the way to the cross. Grains and grapes must go through a grinding process before they can be made into bread or wine. You don't make wine by simply eating grapes. The grapes must first be trampled and thoroughly crushed. They are then left in the dark to ferment.
This is what happened to our Lord Jesus. It is important that you discern the Lord's body for your health. Whenever you receive His broken body while eating bread, do not rush. Take the time to remember what He did for you, and meditate on the process the bread had to go through. To make bread in Jesus' time, the wheat stalks first had to be threshed (Judges 6:11) with the use of a sledgehammer (Isaiah 41:15). It was a violent process that involved threshing, crushing, and cutting the wheat to separate the grain from the stalks. Next, the grain must be ground in a millstone or beaten in a mortar to obtain flour. After this, water must be added, and the flour is then kneaded and punched into a dough before being baked over a fire. All of this is a picture of what happened to our Lord Jesus.
To become the Bread of Life for you and me, He was brutally beaten and pounded again and again, during His trial and crucifixion. When He was condemned by the high priest and the Sanhedrin, they mocked Him, spat on His face, and beat Him. They blindfolded Him and struck Him on the face (Luke 22:63-64; Mark 14:65). He was then sent to Pontius Pilate, who had Him savagely flogged by the Roman soldiers (Matt. 27:26). Then they put a scarlet robe over His beaten body, wove a crown of thorns, and placed it on His head. They put a staff in His right hand, bowed down before Him, and mocked Him. They spat on Him and took the staff and struck Him on the head again and again, pushing the thorns deeper and deeper into His flesh with each blow. When “they were finally tired of mocking Him,” they led Him away to be crucified (Matt. 27:27-31).
All this was before His body was nailed to the cross. We can never fully imagine or comprehend the horrific torture, degrading humiliation, and excruciating pain our Savior endured for us. He suffered so that you and I would not have to endure the plague of disease in our bodies. By the plague He endured, we are healed! Hallelujah
Your daily duty after this revelation
So today, keep the devil under your feet. Do not give in to the symptoms that extend in your body, which is the temple of God. Be persistent and say, "No, Satan! You cannot place any disease on me today. Whatever the symptoms, no matter what my body thinks about it, in the name of Jesus, I command every demonic entity behind this disease or infirmity to leave my body now, because He who is in me is greater than he who is in the world. I release the life of the vine, as I am the branch, in my body to manifest the life that my Savior endured for me, in the name of Jesus!
Jesus’ beloved
AMEN & AMEN 🙏🏾🙏🏾!!
