Justified by faith

EXHORTATION according to the BOOK of LIFE

Scripture to meditate on:

“And God, who knows the hearts, bore witness to them, giving them the Holy Spirit just as he did to us. He made no distinction between us and them, having purified their hearts by faith. Now therefore, why do you test God by putting a yoke on the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? But we believe that by the grace of the Lord Jesus we shall be saved, just as they were.”

🎚️ JUSTIFIED BY FAITH

IN THE WORK OF THE LORD JESUS 🕊️

Jesus said, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God” (Matthew 5:8). Who are those who are pure in heart? Those whose hearts have been purified by faith. Amen! This is how we use Scripture to interpret Scripture. So don't let someone tell you that to have a pure heart, you must do this and that, and if you don't follow a certain outline or list of dos and don'ts, your heart will not be pure.

How are you being made righteous today? How is your heart purified today? By faith in the finished work of our Lord on the cross! Can you see how dangerous the opinions of men can be? In this way, precious children of God may feel fear that if they don't do something hard enough to continually keep their hearts pure, they will think they have lost their salvation. And they will eventually fail to see the Lord.

According to the authority of God's Word, our hearts are purified by faith in our Lord Jesus. Hallelujah! Take the time to read the Word for your growth in truth and let it instill in your heart an unshakeable confidence concerning your salvation, your relationship with the Lord, your future, and see good things happen to you every day.
