Introducing the true Jesus

EXHORTATION through the BOOK of LIFE
Scripture to ponder on:
“And when he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him. And behold, there came to him a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And he stretched forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou made clean. And straightway his leprosy was cleansed.”
Matthew 8:1-3 ASV
✨ INTRODUCING THE TRUE JESUS ✨
There are so many false things to believe today about who Jesus is. I ask you to reject any idea, concept and image you have of a "religious" Jesus.
Let me introduce you to the real Jesus, because that's where it all begins. I'm not talking about the religious Jesus you may have heard about growing up, but the true Jesus who walked through the dusty streets of Jerusalem and the raging waters of Galilee.
HE was the one towards whom the sick, the poor, the sinful, the depressed and the excluded instinctively gravitated and with whom they felt comfortable. HE was God in the flesh and HE manifested the tangible love of God.
In His presence, those who were imperfect were not afraid of Him, nor did they feel judgment or condemnation from Him. To those who sought Him for healing, restoration and supply - regardless of their past or their background, He has always opened His heart and hands to them and with compassion has given them their needs.
Contrary to what many people think, it is not necessary to be religious to have access to God and His help. In fact, the less "religious" you are, the better. The true Jesus did not come to bring a new religion. HE did not come to be served and cared for. No, HE came to serve, and HE served.
The true Jesus created the universe with a single commandment and orchestrated the trajectories of each planet so that they do not collide. He had every right to demand the service of those He had created, but He served instead.
He bowed and washed with His own hands the dirt and dust from the feet of His disciples. These same hands would later be pierced with big nails on the cross, and He would wash us with His own blood from the dirt and filth of all our sins by taking them on His own body. We are far from the God who condemns, judges and criticizes, as many have described him!
This is the real Jesus, totally different from what many of us have learned. HE is willing and able to meet your needs today and love you fully.
Let's pray:
Holy Spirit, thank you for revealing the true Jesus to me and for convincing me of the need for a Savior!
Today Father, I am sorry for the bad conception of Jesus that I had, I receive Jesus and I believe in Him and in His accomplished work.
Holy Spirit, I thank You for helping me grow daily in the revelation of the work that my Savior has accomplished on my behalf, in the name of Jesus!
