Instrument of Peace

*THE INSTRUMENT OF PEACE*

Beloved, one thing is certain, each human is unique and there are none 100% identical even in twins. This explains why there is a divergence of views within a family as well as within a community. These are sometimes diametrically opposed. However, we are called to act with deep peace if our intentions are good. As Isaiah 26:3 says: "To him who is closed in his intentions, you ensure a deep peace."

The music that should be played in a family is unity music. The Holy Spirit helps us to receive and express this peace, this sweet relationship between brothers. For the peace that God gives transcends earthly questions. It surpasses all our intelligences and all our egos (egoisms). A united family will be the one that will resist conflicts and divisions because it wants the peace of God to reign in its midst, as the illustrated in Philippians 4:5 "that your sweetness be known to all".

To keep this unity, concessions must be made out of love. Reject hypocrisy (Psalm 26:4), embrace the other's point of view and avoid quarrels (James 4:1), always act out of love (proverbs 10:12) and with respect. The love of the Spirit of God must push us towards each other, bring us together despite our differences in character, age and views and it will teach us tolerance.

Anger does not accomplish anything. But the love that supports everything will lead us towards unity (1 Corinthians 13:5) which consists of not passing one's interests before those of others. This is how you will have feelings and attitudes inspired by the Spirit of God. Know it: a rope braided with several threads does not break easily (Ecclesiastes 4:12)
