““Make the heart of this people dull, And their ears heavy, And shut their eyes; Lest they see with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart, And return and be healed.””
Isaiah 6:10 NKJV
HEALING BEGINS IN THE HEART
It is written, “Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it flow the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23 Your heart is the engine of your entire body, and for this reason, to restore His people, the Lord said, “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you. I will remove from you your stubborn hearts like stone and replace them with a responsive one. And I will put my Spirit in you, enabling you to obey my decrees and to carefully follow the laws I have commanded you.” Ezekiel 36:26-27
What makes the heart insensitive to the Word? Human knowledge with all its trappings, and that is why, when a situation arises and you pray, there will be no success… But understand that, as a new creation, you are called to have a heart sensitive to the Word.
For this reason, we will pray according to today's verse:
Father, thank You for opening my eyes and softening my heart, so that I may see with my eyes and understand with my heart; that I be converted and be healed in the name of Jesus! Amen!
