Fellowship with God

THE POWER OF FELLOWSHIPPING WITH GOD

Beloved, do you know that you belong to God(Genesis 1:27; 1 Peter 2:9)

But because of the fall of Adam, you lost your communion with God, His nature and His divine character, to inherit instead the character of the devil (Genesis 3:5-10).

Fortunately, through the redeeming work of Jesus Christ, you have been restored to your true identity - and even more!

📖 (Romans 5:17; 1 Corinthians 6:15-20)

Jesus defeated Satan in your place and sent you the Holy Spirit. It is He who reminds you that you are righteous before God (John 16:7-15) and it is He who helps you to walk with authority and victory in this world.

However, let us not forget that the whole world is still under the domination of the evil one (1 John 5:19). Satan uses all possible means to keep Christians in ignorance of their identity, because he knows that his days are numbered: the glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ is near! 🙌

He uses condemnation to sow stress and keep you in a circle of failure and sin, then makes you believe that God rejected you - just like He did with Adam and Eve.

But the Word of God reassures us:

“My little children, these things write I unto you that ye may not sin. And if any man sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: and he is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the whole world.”

✨ What to do then?

Beloved, stay in the light of your identity in Christ.

If you have sinned:

Ask for forgiveness from the person you offended.

Ask God for forgiveness.

Receive forgiveness by letting the blood of Jesus purify you completely.

🕊️ To preserve peace in your home, be the first to ask for forgiveness. God will take care of the rest.
