Don’t deprive yourself from this blessing
EXHORTATION according to the BOOK OF LIFE
Verse to meditate on:
“He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.””
John 7:38 NKJV
Should we deprive ourselves of this blessing?
The Apostle Paul asked the church in Corinth, "Do all work miracles? Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret?" (1 Corinthians 12:30). In this passage, he encouraged Christians to speak in tongues frequently. Yet confusion reigns because not all speak in tongues. Some Christians wonder if certain blessings from God are reserved for some chosen ones, and if they come from God, why others are deprived of them?
When you speak in tongues, it is a personal conversation between you and your Heavenly Father. Speaking to God in tongues, that is, by uttering mysteries, is available to ALL Christians once they have been baptized in the Holy Spirit. It is about allowing the Holy Spirit, who dwells within you, to ask God for things in accordance with His will (Romans 8:26).
But what is its purpose? Speaking in tongues serves a dual purpose: to receive from God for personal edification (spiritual growth) and to serve as a channel of blessings so that people may be set free, encouraged, or comforted by the Lord's message. Especially when the opportunity arises. So rest assured, beloved, speaking in tongues is available to everyone!
Perhaps you have become discouraged, thinking that not speaking in tongues means this gift is not for you? Know that you are depriving yourself of something essential. Individual speaking in tongues is a prayer addressed to God. Its purpose is to help you worship in the Spirit, to intercede in the Spirit for your spiritual and physical growth, your future, and for others. Every Christian needs this. Beloved, I encourage you to seek the baptism in the Holy Spirit and to speak in tongues daily!
Jesus’ beloved !
AMEN & AMEN 🙏🏾 🙏🏾 ! !
